DHAHRAN — The Eastern Province Cricket Association (EPCA) tournament played under the banner of 40-40 Main League, sponsored by Al Turki saw some nail-biting matches in week 6.

Premier Division

PSS Kashmir United outplayed SAQ Hunters. PSSKUCC posted 399 in 40 overs, as Hozaif scored first double century of the season — 201 off 119. SAQCC were restricted to 231. Khalid scored 53 off 54, Faheem Afrad had a magical spell of 7/34 in 8 overs.

Honda CC defeated SKF CC by 2 wickets. SKFCC posted 318 in 40 overs, Faraz scoring 87 off 88 and Irfan smashing 82 off just 45. Imran, Ather and Kashif claimed 2 wickets each. Honda won in 39 overs, with Imran Arif scoring brilliant 107 off 70 and Shahid Ali hitting 58 off 45. Irfan took 4 wickets.

Nawab Intelligent Tiger beat AL Falah C.C. NITCC totaled 259 in 40 overs. Irfan made 61 off 63 and Aamir scored 48 off 49. AFCC managed 167, with Syed Faheem and Aamir Sohail claiming 3 wickets each.

Pan Gulf C.C beat Al Naimi C.C by 3 wickets. ALNCC tallied 242 in 40 overs. Mohsin made 68 off 62 and Umair scored 57 off 55. Faizan grabbed 3 wickets. PGCC won in 38 overs, Abdul Wahab made 101 off 86. Umair and Mohsin grabbed 2 wickets.

Prime Division

Tamimi C.C beat Team Arabia by 5 wickets. Team Arabia scored 222 in 40 overs. Nibu made 79 and Kamran Nazir claimed 4 wickets. TCC won in 27 overs. Aqeel Azad scored 82 off 42 and Kamran Shah made 70 off 50. Nikesh grabbed 3 wickets.

Emerald Ashes C.C beat Team SSQ BD C.C by 16 runs. EARCC scored 271 in 40 overs. Rajesh scored brilliant 118 off 86, and Naveed claimed 3/50. Team SSQ were bundled out for 255. Hashmat scored 90 off 65 and Nizar grabbed 4/26.

Bin Delamah Yorkers C.C defeated Enerco by 12 runs. BDYCC scored 341 in 40 overs. Waseem Malik scored 175 off 121 and Bilal made 50 off 40. Enerco C.C fight fell 12 runs short, Mehtab scoring 119 off 74 as Khalid grabbed 3 wickets.

First Division

Hyderabad Green C.C beat Royal Kashmir C.C by 87 runs. HGCC scored 311 in 40 overs. Yasser cracked 75 off 41 and Afzal made 78 off 77. Parmasivam grabbed 3 wickets. RKCC replied with 224. Shahnawaz made 72 off 64, as Anwar, Naqash and Abdullah grabbed 2 wickets each.

Gladiators C.C beat Jana Marine Young Guns C.C by 5 wickets. JMYGCC scored 238 in 40 overs. Arsalan scored 103 off 89, as Wasim, Saif and Shabbir grabbed 2 wickets each. GLCC won in 35 overs. Wasim scored 74 off 54 and Saad claimed 2 wickets.

Khobar Blasters C.C defeated Kashmir XI C.C by 10 runs. KBCC scored 275 in 40 overs, as Javed smashed 114 off 75 and Malik scored 57 off 45. KXICC managed 265 as Anfin and Javed grabbed 3 wickets each. — SG
