VIRGIN Mobile KSA has announced Wednesday the launch of direct carrier billing service with Google. This new and unique payment method will make it easier for users to purchase mobile apps, games, books and movies from the Google Play Store by billing purchases to their mobile accounts – postpaid or prepaid.

Virgin Mobile direct carrier billing will be available starting April, 2018. Customers will be able to make online purchases on Google Play Store through their mobile accounts, without having to use their credit or debit cards.

Commenting on the launch of this innovative payment method, Fouad Halawi, CEO of Virgin Mobile, said: “We are delighted to partner with Google to provide our customers an extremely convenient and reliable payment method. I am certain that this service will be widely welcomed and accepted by our youth audience in particular. We will continue to bring more initiatives that are focused on enhancing customer experiences.”

This initiative from Virgin Mobile KSA is seen as yet another step towards making mobile better. It also reinstates the commitment of Virgin Mobile KSA to ensure customers, particularly the youth, get rewarding experiences when interacting with Virgin. — SG
