DAMMAM — Eastern Province Cricket Association (EPCA) Tournament, played under the banner of 40-40 Main League and sponsored by Al-Turki had some entertaining matches in week 11.

Premier Division

Al-Naimi CC Outplayed Marooj Rawan CC. Batting first ALNCC managed 294 in 40 overs. Falak scored 116 off 87. Shahid Siddique grabbed 4 wickets. In reply, MRCC was restricted to 130 as Rana Khurram and Arsalan claimed 4 wickets each.

Karachi Striker CC defeated Al-Falah CC by 4 wickets. Batting first ALFCC posted 241 in 40 overs. Munawar hit 102 off 93. Ijaz claimed 3 wickets. In reply, KSCC CC chased the target in 37 overs with Ijaz Sahi making 59 off 55. Nazim took 3 wickets.

In another match, Honda CC Tiger won against SAQ Hunters by 10 wickets. Batting first, SAQCC managed 102. Abdul Qayyum made 44 off 47. Imran Arif grabbed 5-12. In reply, HCC chased the target in 6 overs. Imran Arif smashed an unbeaten 65 off 27.

Pan Gulf CC defeated Nawab Intelligent Tiger CC by 4 wickets. Batting first NITCC tallied 251. Mohsin made 54 off 62 and Aamir Sohail 37. Imran and Abdul Wahab grabbed 3 wickets each. In reply, PGCC chased the target in 36 overs. Abdul Wahab top scored with 80. Aamir Sohail and Sohrab took 2 wickets each.

Prime Division

Pak Shaheen won against Team SSQ by 124 runs. Batting first, PASCC amassed 311. Atiq ur Rahman made a classic 112 off 83 and Abid 82 off 71. Saleem and Naveed claimed 3 wickets each. In reply, TSSQCC was restricted to 187 with Atiq ur Rahman claiming 4 wickets and Naveed 3.

Bilal Tigers CC outplayed Enerco CC by 35 runs. Batting first BTCC scored 184. Hassan Riaz scored a brilliant 57 off 58. Mehtab claimed 3-33 in 8 overs. In reply, Enerco CC was bundled out for 149 in 31 overs as Hassan Riaz and Tariq Tanweer grabbed 4 wickets each.

In another Match, AAC CC defeated Emerald Ashes CC by 40 runs. AAC CC scored a huge 359. Ayub scored 122 off 87 and Faizan 61 off 43. Rajesh took 3 wickets. In reply, ERACC CC fought hard but fell 40 runs short. Sulfi blasted 89 off 50. Abid grabbed 4 wickets.

First Division

Gladiators CC outplayed BNS List CC by 6 wickets. BNSLCC batted first and scored 206. Rafaqat made 85 off 34. Nabeel claimed 4 wickets. In reply, GLCC chased the target in 24 overs with Ajaz scoring 58 off 29 and Shabbir making 57.

Zalmi United CC won against On Dot Rhinos CC by 114 runs. Batting first, ZUCC tallied 287. Umair Awan scored 83 off 69, while Shiyad, Ruman and Farvez picked up 2 wickets each. In reply, ODRCC was restricted to 173 in 30 overs. Showing his all-round skills Umair Awan claimed 4 wickets and Khateeb 3.

In another match, Jana Marine Young Guns defeated EverGreen CC by 4 wickets. Batting first, EGCC posted 179. Naseem scored 45. Suhaib grabbed 3 wickets, while Shan, Zayyad and Imad got 2 each. In reply, JMYGCC chased the target in 33 overs with Arsalan scoring 65 off 77. Aftab took 4 wickets.
