April 21, 2018

RIYADH — LuLu Hypermarket is hosting “Beautiful Britain 2018” promotion across all its hypermarkets in Saudi Arabia.

The event will be inaugurated by Simon Collis, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to KSA, today (April 22) at 2:00 pm at LuLu Khurais in the presence of LuLu officials and customers. The promotion, which is a celebration of British culture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is aimed to mark the deeper ties between the two countries.

The fest, which will run till April 28, 2018, will serve as a platform to promote the best of British brands among the local as well as the expatriate communities in Saudi Arabia. It is also an occasion to blend together the culture and heritage of the two countries. The event will also serve as an opportunity for customers to explore the culinary delights and lifestyles of Britain. For this promotion, Lulu has stacked up its shelves with a range of fresh food, frozen food, confectionery and seafood, exclusively flown in from the UK. Special in-store counters are also put up to enable customers to get a real taste of some of the best British delicacies. From fish and chips to pies, cakes and the best-loved chocolate and toffee brands, Lulu has everything in store for the fest. Currently we are importing 450.brands and more than 6000 SKUs from UK and this volume will increase in 2019.

Apart from their line of fresh imports of dairy, fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables, the fest will also have a variety of confectioneries, breads, goat’s milk, plain and flavored yoghurts, and different types of canned food too.

“Through this event, our goal is to showcase the very best of what Britain has to offer. ‘Beautiful Britain 2018’ will be a time of celebration and a great opportunity for the British community and those promoting British products to come together and enjoy the products,” LuLu management added. — SG
