RiYADH — Pakistani popstar Asim Azhar enthralled his audience in his first ever live concert held here. It was organized as Asian Cultural Event by the Events Arena supported by Shamail Al Khaleej in association with the Elixir Entertainment.

Many of the international event companies and celebrities are focusing on Saudi Arabia as their next station as nearly 5,000 entertainment programs have been registered with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) for the year 2018 only.

The open air venue of the concert witnessed hundreds of Asim’s fans gathered hours before his arrival. There was a burst of colorful lights, and electrifying sounds by the DJUK. The concert began with the sensational performances by the local artists including Aaqib, Waseem Rafique, Zalouj band and few others.

Asim, performing for the first time in Saudi Arabia, he thrilled and captivated the hearts of his fans and music lovers by performing most of his hit tracks. The tempo of the numbers got the crowd dancing to the beat and it proved to be a rocking performance.

Speaking exclusively to SG, Asim said, “I am overwhelmed and still can’t get over the love and affection I have received in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I am leaving this place with nothing but good memories. Hoping to be back very soon.”

Asim’s mother Gul-e-Rana, a famous Pakistani TV artist, accompanied him for the very first time for any of the international concert. She said, “She is so happy at every success of her son and she is so glad to visit Saudi Arabia.”

Asian Cultural Event was packed with palpable excitement and had different shades of fun including the fusion of Asian and Mid-Eastern food stalls and lots of attractions for the kids including the gaming and playing zones.

Ahmed Hussain and Shiraz Alam said, “Our team of Athar Shah, Salman Waheed, Faisal Mir, Hamza Sheikh, Hasan Khalil, Bilal Mir, volunteers and Usama Habib of Al Sahil Park did their best to make this event possible. Main sponsors were Super Cool, Coca Cola, Areesha Trading, F&B Motors, Taxfiy, OSN, Mumtaz Optics and Lebara”, They added.
