flyadeal partners with Booking.com to offer hotel reservations to customers

May 14, 2018

JEDDAH — flyadeal, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Everyday Low Fares airline, has signed an agreement with Booking.com, the online travel giant, to provide accommodation reservations through the airline’s website and mobile app. This new offering ties in with the airline’s broader strategy of creating an ever-expanding suite of one-stop travel services to customers.

As flyadeal rapidly expands in the Kingdom and beyond, its partnership with Booking.com allows it to offer the largest number of accommodation listings in the world. In Saudi Arabia alone, Booking.com has more than 3,765 hotel selections across the Kingdom.

The new service is easy to access and simple to use. On the airline website, flyadeal.com, Customers will find a hotel reservation icon. On clicking the icon, Customers will be required to enter the name of the destination city, and the date of arrival and departure. A list of accommodation options will be made available, from which Customers can choose their preferred hotel or apartment. Most hotels and apartments can be reserved without paying online —Customers can choose to have the convenience of paying directly when checking in. Moreover, depending on property’s policy, most reservations can also be cancelled without a penalty.

"We are continuing to invest in innovative technology solutions to meet the aspirations and desires of our customers. As eCommerce activity progressively flourishes in the Kingdom and travelers and shoppers increasingly purchase services online, we will continue to enhance our services to ensure our Customers have a comfortable travel experience right from booking to travelling to staying at their chosen destination,” said Con Korfiatis, CEO of flyadeal.

He added, “Signing of the agreement with Booking.com is one such enhancement. It will not only give flyadeal’s Customers access to the many special offers on Booking.com but there will also be regular exclusive deals for flyadeal Customers.”

Korfiatis also added that the flyadeal team are also reviewing car rental and other travel services which will be offered to the airlines’ Customers over the coming months as they work towards delivering a seamless efficient travel planning process for all. — SG
