SABB Academy celebrates the graduation of the third batch

"SABB Academy" celebrated the graduation of the third batch of trainees; 150 male & female trainees from different regions of the Kingdom, in the presence of the Director General of the Institute of Finance Thamer Al-Issa and SABB senior executives.

Al Issa said in his speech during the ceremony: "We are proud of the new generation of Saudi young men and women joining the banking sector. The recent years witnessed a significant increase in the percentage of Saudi citizens working in this sector. We are also proud of SABB’s efforts in developing young Saudi men and women. We at the Institute of Finance are committed to develop and improve the level of professional performance in the financial sector, and we encourage all efforts aiming to achieve such mission and objectives."

Nojoud Al-Hajjar, head of learning & talent, also delivered a speech in which she confirmed that the Academy is an example of the major initiatives launched by SABB in support of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and in order to implement the bank’s social responsibility and sustainable development strategy, as well as to complement its pioneering role in supporting youth aspiration and contribute to building a promising generation capable to lead the Kingdom in the future in various areas and fields.

Nojoud further pointed out that the Academy seeks to qualify male & female trainees to enter the labor market, by providing them with advanced and intensive training courses covering several financial and administrative specialties, which were carefully selected according to the requirements of the labor market. “In addition SABB provide trainees with financial rewards, as well as proficient certificates accredited by SAMA Institute of Banking,” she added.

Graduates are honored after completing their three-month training program, which started during last February. Also an open career day was organized to provide the graduates the opportunity to find jobs suitable for their qualifications. Several leading local banks and companies were invited to present their vacancies opened for graduates.

Till now “SABB Academy" has graduated 394 male & female trainees. The Academy has achieved a wide acceptance by applicants for training programs, and received many appreciations from many specialists in the training and employment market. SABB Academy will continue to provide its programs in line with the labor market requirements. — SG
