HUAWEI gives thanks to its users across the region and encourages people to recognize those they are most grateful to this Ramadan

In the true spirit of Ramadan, Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) expressed its gratitude to its users, taking the opportunity to #SayShukran to Huawei fans across the region. During this special time of reflection, devotion and generosity, Huawei re-emphasizes its commitment to serving its customers with dedication and pride, to enrich their daily digital life.

“The Middle East is an extremely diverse and important region for us, and we are grateful to have been welcomed so warmly as a business partner and trusted provider. Ramadan is a time to remind us of all we are thankful for, and for us at Huawei, it is our users. We are dedicated to putting the people of the Middle East first, and to you, we say shukran,” said Gene Jiao, president of Huawei CBG, Middle East & Africa.

Since entering the Middle East in 2011, Huawei has remained committed to the region. The company has united efforts with key government entities to support the Middle East’s vision for innovation and growth, and has also focused on providing consumers access to best-in-class technology, innovative devices and exceptional quality products, to develop more meaningful ways to stay connected.

It is this dedication to the region and its customers that has contributed to Huawei’s vision of becoming a global iconic technology brand. According to the IDC’s Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, Huawei has remained third in global smartphone market share during the first quarter of 2018, with a new market share high of 11.8%.

As part of its commitment to the region, Huawei is giving customers in the Middle East a chance to participate in the spirit of appreciation this Ramadan by sharing their own #SayShukran messages, recognizing the people they are most grateful to. Fans are encouraged to upload an image with a special message to show their gratitude to an important person in their life, using the #SayShukran hashtag and tagging Huawei. Participating customers have the chance to win the new Huawei P20 Pro smartphone.

Huawei has also created special themes for Ramadan that can be downloaded from the Huawei Theme Store to help users give their messages an extra special touch of creativity. The themes can be downloaded across the region from May 14 through the month of Ramadan. A #SayShukran gift voucher will also be included in the Huawei AppGallery, the brand’s official app distribution platform, which allows users to search, download, manage, and share mobile apps on Huawei mobile devices. As a token of appreciation from Huawei, the gift voucher will offer incredible discounts to Huawei customers on a range of popular shopping Apps. — SG
