JEDDAH — Karachi Chefs at Home (KCH) Jeddah chapter celebrated KCH’s 4th Foundation Day with much enthusiasm here.

KCH is the brainchild of Saba Mohsin Sheikha, a resident of Karachi based in Pakistan. Shefouded the group with women on one platform with love for cooking. It is a popular all-female Facebook group with members all around the globe that connects Pakistanis and other nationalities who share the same passion of preparing delicious meals at home.

Salma Jahanzaib regional head Jeddah chapter, was the main organizer of the event in coordination with many other women in the group. Speaking to Saudi Gazette she said, this group consists of about over 100,000 members who all share one passion “love of food”.

“The group has now evolved and consists of women all around the globe, and the Jeddah chapter is just one of the many. It is an amazing opportunity to get to know each other and make new friends for all the women in the city,” she added.

The event had give-aways gifts, funs, games, laughter and of course a cake by Nida Adnan, Jahanzaib said, adding, “KCH Jeddah chapter welcomes more women to join their future events to add more color to the group.”

Dr. Addiya Wahaj, a nutritionist, was keynote speaker, who shared some tips to make Ramadan easy for all. The event was sponsored by Jumeira marketing (National Foods) and Eirad International Travels and Tourism. Flash Mob Studios, Jeddah, were the official photographers.
