JEDDAH — The alumni association of Jamia Nizamia, “Bazme Tulba-E-Qadeem-Wa-Muhibban-E-Jamia Nizamia,” held a function to welcome pilgrims and Ramadan here.

Hafiz Qari Mohammed Abdul Salam patron Bazme Tulba presided over the gathering while Qari Mohammed Nazamuddin Gori, president Bazme Tulba, supervised the proceedings.

Mir Barkat Ali recited few verses from Holy Qur’an. Mohammed Saleem Qari, Mohammed Khalid Hussain Madani and Moulana Mohammed Ilyas Noori presented Naats. Hafiz Mohammed Hayder Ali Khan conducted the program. Syed Mohammed Abdul Rub Hamid Qadri. vice president finance and convener of the function, delivered the welcome address.

Moulana Al-Haj Syed Ahmed Pasha Qadri, member assembly from Charminar and general secretary Majlis Etahad ul Muslimeen, was the chief guest. Dr. Syed Abdul Rehman Qadri, Dr, Syed Ghous Mohiddin, Moulana Syed Said Ullah Hussaini, Qari Shah Darwesh Mohiuddin, Shah Abdul Sattar Hussaini, Syed Munawwar Ali Asim, Moulana Shah Fasihullah, Syed Shah Hussain Shaheed, Syed Anwar ul Hasan Qari, Mohammed Abid Hussain, Moulana Mohammed Ilyas, Moulana Ala uddin Attari, Kamal uddin, Ahmed Ali, Mohammed Abdul Azeem, Syed Perves Ahmed Qari, Abdul Mujeeb and Saeed uddin Ahmed attended.

The chief guest, in his address, described the importance of the Holy Month of Ramadan. He said Ramadan is the holiest month of the Islamic calendar. This is the month of Rahmah, Magferah (forgiveness) and to seek salvation (Najat) from Hell fire.

Dr. Syed Abdul Rehman Qadri said “Ramadan is a month of sacrifice and charity.” He said we should pray for global peace and prosperity of Muslim world in this holy month. He said if we spent on needy person and give charity. Allah will give us unlimited rewards.

Moulana Anwar ul Hasan said we should celebrate Ramadan wholeheartedly because the days and nights of Ramadan gives all a great chance to please Allah. “One who finds Ramadan and he does not respect it, he will be most unfortunate person,” he said.

Syed Emad uddin Qadri, Mahboob Pasha, Mohammed Asim Uddin Ansari, Mohammed Liaqat Khan, Mohammed Amen Ansari, Mahmood Musri and others took part in the arrangement of the function.

The program ended with supplications from Hazrat Syed Shah Ghous Mohidudin Qari Azam Pasha.
