Hays, Yemen
— Fighter jets of the Saudi-led Coalition with the participation of the United Arab Emirates forces targeted Houthi militia locations in Hodeida and Sanaa and north of Hays, west coast of Yemen.

Emirates News Agency said that 70 members of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias were killed after raids by the Coalition’s fighter jets and confrontations with the joint Yemeni resistance forces in the west coast of Yemen.

Yemeni forces killed and wounded dozens of Iran-backed Houthi militias on Saturday night in battles in eastern Sanaa.

A Yemeni military source said in a statement on September 26 website of the Yemeni Ministry of Defense that Yemeni army forces attacked the militias in their positions in the district of Nahm, east of Sanaa.

The Yemeni forces are also making rapid field progress toward Hodeida airport and strategic port. The joint Yemeni resistance forces captured 21 Houthi militia members, destroyed their defenses and fortifications in the west coast and seized a number of vehicles and heavy artillery after the rebels fled the battlefront near Hodeida.

The Yemeni National Army has also strengthened its grip on mountain ranges in Bart Al-Anan directorate of Al-Jawf after fierce fighting with the Iranian-backed coup militias.

Operations Commander of Al-Hasim brigade Col. Abdullah Mutawan said in a press statement published by the official website of the Yemeni Defense Ministry that the National Army forces backed by the Arab Coalition forces have taken control of the mountain ranges in Al-Jawf governorate.

He said the Yemeni army has completely cut off the supplies of the Houthi militias coming from Bart Anan.

The Houthi militias have suffered a large number of deaths and injuries in their ranks, many have been captured while others fled from their positions.
