EDSA Dart elims end, Class B Darters set record

RIYADH — The seven weeks of elimination round of the ongoing 53rd EDSA Inter-commercial Dart Tournament held at the Al-Jafen Sports Center, Second Industrial City here, finally ended last Friday with six contesting teams reconditioning their pulses once again for a more crucial showdown via best-of-three stepladder contest this coming weekend.

The last two teams in the team standing, Tropa of Jay Patalinghug will face Juan Tapel’s Brand One on top 5 spot via best of three matches. Winner will advance and face another team in the fourth spot and so on going to top of the ladder. Bulleros of Robert Teodoro managed to bring home a 6-9 win loss record to stay in fourth spot, while D’ Pirates Romy Gorembalem had a final record of 8-7. NBD Magnitude team of Noel Borromeo took the second spot with 12-3 win-loss record. Elmer Parago’s Vipers is on top spot with 13-2 win-loss record and on a waiting status.

Meanwhile, Class B darters also set their individual records with Deng Migcampong of Vipers clinching the first spot with an 8-5 in-loss record. Also webmaster Ariel John Agbunag from Brand One did his best to be in second spot with an 8-3 record. Third placer is none other than Joel Villanueva from D’Pirates team with a 7-6 win-loss record.

Games are played in 01 mode starting from singles, doubles and team match with a total score of 19 points. The first team to score 10 points is declared winner.
