UAE confirms four of its soldiers killed during active duty in Yemen

DUBAI — The General Command of UAE’s Armed Forces has confirmed the death of four of its soldiers while carrying out their active duties with the Arab Coalition in Yemen.

“The four were martyred while carrying out their national duties during the restoring hope operation along with the Arab Coalition in to support legitimacy in Yemen,” a tweet by UAE’s WAM news agency read.

They identified the four soldiers as First Lieutenant Khalifa Saif Said al-Khatri, Ali Mohammed Rashed al-Hassani, Sergeant Khamis Abdullah Khamis al-Zayudi and First Corporal Obeid Hamdan Said al-Abdouli. — Al Arabiya English
