Security Forces lauded for excellent service for worshipers

MAKKAH — Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Saud Bin Naif, minister of interior and chairman of the Supreme Umrah Committee, conveyed the Eid greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, to security personnel from the Ministry of Interior and the Presidency of State Security who participated in carrying out the Umrah security duties. This came at a reception for senior officials of the ministry held at the office of the minister in Makkah.

The King and the Crown Prince congratulated the security forces for the success of the plans executed to ensure the safety and security of the Umrah pilgrims and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques as well as to enable them to perform their rituals in ease and comfort during the holy month of Ramadan, which marked the peak annual Umrah season.

During the reception, the minister conveyed the greetings of the leadership to all employees and officers, praising everyone for their outstanding performance in managing and organizing the smooth flow of the pilgrims and visitors at the Two Holy Mosques during the holy month.

The reception was attended by several senior officials of the ministry, including Chief of the Presidency of State Security Abdul Aziz Al-Huwairini, Deputy Minister of Interior Nasser Al-Dawood, Assistant Minister of Interior for Operations Affairs Gen. Saeed Al-Qahtani, and Umrah Security Forces Commander Gen. Khaled Al-Harbi.
