Saudi cultural exhibition concludes successfully in Moscow

MOSCOW — The Saudi Cultural Exhibition, which was organized by the Saudi Culture Authority (GCA) in the Russian capital Moscow on the sidelines of the World Cup, concluded successfully.

The exhibition, held between June 13—16 at the Moscow Museum, attracted a large number of visitors of the World Cup 2018 and a number of Russians, who had the opportunity to learn about the cultural and artistic aspects of Saudi Arabia.

Visitors got through various events including short film shows, traditional costumes, and musical performances, in addition to pavilions to highlight Arabic calligraphy, a Saudi hospitality tent and the history of Arabic coffee, as well as the henna pavilion.

The exhibition showcased seven Saudi short films by young Saudi directors in the field of filmmaking. The films were appreciated by the Russian audience and the visitors of the World Cup for their high artistic accents in terms of noble human content and artistic form.

The event served its role in representing Saudi Arabia globally, and offered a deep understanding of the Kingdom’s history and heritage, in order to build bridges of cultural communication with the world.

The exhibition also presented Saudi talents in the fields of culture and arts, to reflect the Kingdom’s promising futuristic plan for these sectors, in line with the goals of Vision 2030.
