RIYADH – Several high-ranking Saudi officials, including ministers, lauded the Kingdom’s vibrant reforms, robust growth and remarkable achievements over the past year after Prince Muhammad Bin Salman was appointed as Crown Prince and Deputy Premier by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, the Saudi Press Agency reported. In statements made on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Crown Prince’s appointment, they said that the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030, a brainchild of the Crown Prince, will transform the country into a leading global model in all spheres of life.

Sheikh Abdullah Al-Asheikh, president of the Shoura Council: The Crown Prince has shown his boldness in facing challenges and advancing the Kingdom to a distinguished status at all levels with a promising future full of achievements beyond all expectations.

Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, advisor of Royal Court and supervisor general of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief): The Crown Prince’s first year tenure has witnessed comprehensive development in all fields and he has worked hard to raise the name of the Kingdom high even among the countries in the developed world, including his support for charitable, relief and humanitarian works for the affected countries. He specially noted the Crown Prince’s allocation of $66.7 million to fight cholera in Yemen, in addition to his directives to KSRelief officials to provide relief aid for needy peoples around the world regardless of their religions and races.

Dr. Yousef Al Othaimeen, secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC): The Crown Prince is the mastermind behind the Vision 2030 and a source of inspiration for youth. In one year, the Crown Prince has managed to make changes in the structure of the economy and society, and he has been able to strengthen the leadership role of the Kingdom, its distinguished international status and influential role in defending and supporting Islamic causes.

Ahmad Al-Isa, minister of education: Our country is looking forward to a bright future in line with an ambitious vision. It is standing at the threshold of great transformations leading us to achieve the aspirations of people and drawing the features of a decisive stage with programs and projects that respond to the changes of the times and confirm the glory of this country and its status among the countries of the world.

Waleed Al-Samaani, minister of justice: The Crown Prince is an inspired leader whose impact surpassed local and regional levels to become one of the most influential figures in the global arena, and we are proud of him and his national achievements that transferred and will move the country to further development and progress.

Sulaiman Al-Hamdan, minister of civil service: The Kingdom’s Vision 2030 announced by the Crown Prince is an unprecedented initiative covering all aspects of life in the Kingdom and has become a guiding light to be pursued in confident paces towards the future.
