LOS ANGELES - Meghan Markle’s father Thomas may not have been able to walk her down the aisle on May 19 but he sure knows how to stay in the public eye.

Prior to the wedding, Thomas made plenty of headlines by posing for the paparazzi and letting them into his private affairs with his now-Royal daughter. He also revealed Meghan and he had had a falling out of sorts over the years.

However, Thomas is now pleading to for a chance to reconcile with his daughter as he believes Meghan seems “terrified” during her royal outings with Prince Harry and his family.

In his second on-camera interview since the Royal Wedding two months ago, the 73-year-old said, “The thing about my daughter right now is that I think she is terrified,” reported E! Online. “I see it in her eyes, I see it in her face and I see it in her smile. I’ve seen her smile for years. I know her smile. I don’t like the one I’m seeing now. This one isn’t even a stage smile - this is a pained smile.”

He continued, “That might be just having a couple of bad days. I don’t know. It really worries me. I think she’s under too much pressure,” he said. “There’s a high price to pay to be married to that family.”
