AL Faisaliah Hotel Riyadh is hosting a 10-day black truffle festival helmed by Culinary Director Chef Cladys Magagna at the city’s leading Italian restaurant, La Cucina.

Truffle lovers around the world rave about the intense flavor burst that ricochets from black truffles. Now residents and visitors in the Saudi capital can appreciate the funky scent and taste of these prized tubers thanks to an entire festival dedicated to them.

Not only will guests be treated to an array of subtly imbued dishes, they’ll also get the opportunity to interact with the celebrated chef who hails from Piedmont, Italy, while learning more about these precious little nuggets, also known as black diamonds – thanks to both their hefty price point and their diamond-shaped projections.

Signature dishes – all of which contain the mighty black truffle – include a rustic Organic Poached Eggs and Polenta, a rich and fragrant Tagliolini al Tartufo Nero and Gnocchi Alla Bava with Fontina (buckwheat gnocchi with butter and cheese). Can’t find your favorite truffle combination on the menu? Chef Cladys will tailor the menu according to your preference.

Round your meal off with a splendid Tartufo Affogato Al Caffe (ice cream drowned with a shot of espresso) and you’re guaranteed to leave La Cucina with a spring in your step.
