JEDDAH
— Zulqarnain Ali Khan, chief organizer, Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI — Pakistan Movement for Justice), Middle East and president of Insaf Welfare Trust (IWT) Pakistan, said, “I think Imran Khan, chairman PTI, is Quaid-i-Insaf ("Leader of Justice") of the "New Pakistan". Mohammed Ali Jinnah was revered in Pakistan as Quaid-i-Azam, "Great Leader" and Baba-i-Qaum "Father of the Nation"). I will give Imran Khan this title because our party's name is Tehreek-e-Insaf and Imran Khan is our Quaid.

Speaking to Saudi Gazette at his office after the grand victory of PTI in the general election 2018, Zulqarnain expressed his happiness at the PTI showing in the elections and hoped a prosperous and progressive Pakistan would evolve under the leadership of Imran Khan.

Explaining the main ideology of the PRI chairman, he said, “According to him the basic principle of success in any place, country or society is ‘justice’. It is essential such as blood for a person in body. There is nothing unless there is ‘justice’ in the country or society. Unfortunately there has been huge decline in the number of people brought to justice in Pakistan.”

Zulqarnain said, “I understand that the actual trial of the PTI has started now. There are many challenges to face to get rid of corrupt leaders in Pakistan who have stolen from the people of Pakistan and have made enormous wealth abroad. Imran promised to the nation that his government would wage a 'Jihad' against injustice in the country.”

He described the necessary steps, which PTI government will take in order to make the judicial system independent to benefit for all countrymen.

He said people supported Imran Khan because they trusted him and that he is not a thief and he loves Pakistan. “Imran is wishing to build Pakistan like Prophet's city Madinah,” he added.

He informed that leading Saudi businessmen have pledged to invest within the next two to three years more than $100 million in Pakistan after taking Imran Khan takes the oath of office. “This will bring huge prosperity in the country,” he added.

Answering a question about NRO deal with former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, he said that the Saudi Arabia's Ambassador met with Imran only to offer his congratulations and the good wishes of Saudi government and the people of Saudi Arabia on his success in the general election 2018. Further they discussed bilateral relation of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. There was no discussion on NRO of Nawaz Sharif in this meeting.

“He said all kind of impression in this regards are wrong, it is false and we condemn the news and rumors,” he added.
