JEDDAH — A farewell party was organized to honor British Consul General Barrie Peach, who is leaving the Kingdom following the completion of his tenure. Prominent businessman and honorary ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Panama Abdul Khaliq Saeed hosted the party.

Muhammad Bin Ahmad Al-Tayyib, permanent representative of Saudi Arabia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), advisor to administrative affairs at the US Embassy, several ambassadors, consuls general and diplomats accredited to the Kingdom attended the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Khaliq praised Peach, saying that he is a gentleman who won the hearts of all during his stint in Jeddah. — SG
