JEDDAH —
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman expressed happiness over the great efforts and dedication of all the government and private agencies in offering the best possible services for the Haj pilgrims. In a reply cable of thanks sent to Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Haj Committee Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Saud Bin Naif, the King thanked all for making this year’s Haj operation a resounding success.

In the cable, King Salman said: “We had received your cable dated Dhul Hijjah 12, delivered on your behalf and on behalf of the members of the Supreme Haj Committee, emirs of the provinces, as well as all the employees of the Ministry of Interior, and their colleagues from the Presidency of the State Security and civil and military sectors. Apart from offering greetings on Eid Al-Adha, you have mentioned in the cable about the success of the Haj season, which was free from diseases and epidemics, thanks to Allah Almighty and to the efforts made by everyone in accordance with the plans in the realms of security, preventive, organizational, service and traffic,” the King said, while noting that this enabled a total of 2,371,675 pilgrims to perform their pilgrimage with ease and comfort, and that was in an atmosphere of peace, tranquility and spirituality.

“We have followed the great efforts made by government and private agencies that were involved in serving the guests of God, and we were pleased with the keenness and dedication of all to receive the honor of serving the pilgrims,” the King said and prayed to God to accept the Haj ritual of the pilgrims and help them return to their homeland safely.
