Riyadh — The Public Prosecutor urged on Wednesday the specialized criminal court to award the death penalty to a Saudi accused of founding a youth organization affiliated to the banned Muslim Brotherhood.

The charges against him include meeting five terror leaders — including Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, Ali Al-Salabi and a Qatari ruling family member.

He is also charged with founding a TV channel in Egypt and Jordan to disseminate the Brotherhood ideology.

He encouraged youth to go and fight in conflict zones, triggering sedition, weakening national cohesion.

He is also charged with setting up Brotherhood offices in some Arab countries targeting youth and providing them training.

He also participated in TV programs calling for revolution and change in governments in Arab countries, and funded SR2 million per year for terror activities.

Wednesday was the second day of trail of the accused for their association with the terror outfit Brotherhood.
