AT this year’s Gold’s Gym International Convention held at Las Vegas, Nevada, Team Gold’s Gym Saudi Arabia was awarded the ‘Visionary of the Year’ award for setting exemplary standards for the best and fastest growing Gold’s Gym chain outside America.

Visionary of the Year award is given to franchisees or master franchisees of Golds Gym brand who has strong cause, commitment, and take real action in carrying out Golds Gym mission.

The award was presented by Gold’s Gym International administration to Makarem S. Batterjee, president of Gold's Gym Saudi Arabia at the annual Gold’s Gym Convention.

More than 700 Gold’s Gym owners, master franchisees, corporate executives, managers, staff and vendors gathered this year at the Gold’s annual international convention.

With this Visionary of the Year award, Gold’s Gym Saudi Arabia surely becomes an inspiration as well as motivation for all Golds Gym Saudi Arabia staff to keep improving the quality of services and help more members achieve their goal to live a healthier lifestyle, said Makarem S. Batterjee, president of Gold's Gym Saudi Arabia.

Batterjee said “it is an honor to be appreciated as a Saudi club such a prestigious award and this award will encourage us to push on even further.”

He said that Gold’s Gym Saudi Arabia seeks to contribute to the goals and aspirations of the Saudi leadership, the Saudi community and the transformation of sport to contribute to the achievement of the vision of the Kingdom 2030, which lies in building a society with a healthy lifestyle, using sport as an essential tool.

Gold's Gym's plans to strengthen its presence and tap into the opportunities offered by Saudi Arabia's fledgling fitness market, Batterjee announced Gold’s Gym Saudi Arabia will cap off 2020 with a total of 100 newly opened clubs across the Kingdom for both men and women. — SG
