lyadeal, Saudi Arabia’s Everyday Low Fares airline, completed one year of operations on Sept. 23, the country’s National Day. In a period of one year, the airline has reached several milestones, providing a broad range of air service options, contributing to the expansion of the air transport industry – one of the pillars of Vision 2030.

Since the very start of flyadeal, customers have shared their delight with low fares and the new flight services available - and we have responded. What started as a single flight between Jeddah and Riyadh last national day has now become 56 daily flyadeal flights between eight cities in Saudi Arabia. Indeed, flyadeal has now flown over 1.5m passengers.

Established as part of Saudia’s Transformation 2020 programme, flyadeal was a newcomer to the domestic air travel market, bringing something different, focused on innovation and personality. Its 24 daily flights between Jeddah and Riyadh – with prices starting from SR 108 – is a reflection of the flyadeal mission to provide low fares with high value - for everyone. Right from the beginning, flyadeal came to the market with a bold, colourful, position, providing hospitality with a smile.

At the heart of flyadeal’s rapid growth has been a belief in the power of technology, and the focus that technology should be at the heart of our connection to its customers. Most of flyadeal’s tickets are sold online through its website or app via credit cards. Its app, which was released only a few months ago, has already been downloaded 250,000 times. Its social media platforms serve an audience of about 350,000 fans and followers. Every month, its social care team processes over 50,000 messages from customers.

flyadeal recently became the first airline in the Kingdom to open female cabin crew positions to Saudis. In addition, the airline has achieved platinum level in Saudization and the number of Saudi employees has grown by almost 250% over the last year.

flyadeal is the fastest-growing airline in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in just one year of flying has broadened brand awareness, expanded rapidly and grown its customer base. — SG.
