Saudi Arabia denies report of Turkish ambassador’s expulsion

RIYADH -- An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied an electronic media report about Turkey’s ambassador to the Kingdom being expelled, saying that the report is totally baseless.

“Referring to what was published in one of the websites alleging that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had issued a statement expelling the Turkish ambassador from the Kingdom following the disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi.

This report is totally baseless and false,” the Saudi Press Agency reported quoting the source. — SG/SPA
