RIYADH — King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) recently distributed 800 bags of toys and sports supplies to 100,000 Syrian students living in the Aleppo region of Syria.
The items were given to students in the Mount Simeon district, the town of Darat Izza, and the village of Anjarah.
KSrelief provides multi-sectoral aid to the Syrian people, including extensive educational support to help students continue their education despite the ongoing turmoil in their country.
In another development, KSrelief distributed 40 electrically powered wheelchairs to amputees and others with special needs in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa. Governor of Sanaa Abdulqawi Al-Shareef expressed his appreciation for this generous humanitarian gesture and for the Kingdom’s continuous support for the people of Yemen.
The beneficiaries also expressed their happiness in receiving the wheelchairs, which will help them increase their mobility and improve their quality of life. They expressed thanks to KSrelief for its response to the needs of the Yemeni people.
KSrelief has implemented more than 200 programs to alleviate the suffering of Yemeni people throughout the country. — SG
