Saudi HR leaders to explore macro trends in human development

DUBAI — Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 challenges HR leaders in Saudi to take progressive steps to bring about organizational changes aimed at ensuring greater business success. Ashridge Executive Education has launched a five-day transformational program aimed at providing insights and practical skills for HR leaders within the context of leveraging the human network in an organization to adapt to changing business conditions and achieve sustainable business success.

The program will be held on Nov. 4- 8, 2018 in Ashridge campus Dubai. Ashridge can also conduct the program on location for Saudi companies that prefer to host it at their premises.

Our program is aimed at developing the strategic role of HR leaders so that top management and the HR team can work hand in hand to shape a sustainable, positive and attractive work environment that ensures organizational success.”

Ashridge’s program ‘HR Strategy and Impact’ will help to develop HR’s strategic role; enhance the way HR leaders influence and create ownership for initiatives with key stakeholders to impact on the organization and, help HR leaders to learn to develop and leverage their strengths and to enhance their personal credibility and impact.

Using a specific strategic framework, participants work through the translation of their business into people strategies. The importance of including and aligning the right content in your people strategy runs throughout the session. Ashridge team uses a clear-thinking framework to test for content, commerciality and engagement. Participants assess their own organization using these tools and consider potential changes they could make on their return to work. The session culminates with each participant practicing the articulation a specific business challenge, its resulting people implications, actions to be taken and the future business impact - within a 2-minute impactful story; followed by peer feedback and coaching.

The highly interactive sessions with leading HR though leaders will allow participants to test their ability of strategic partnering skills through a real-life simulation and sharing innovative best practices of talent leadership and performance management.

Before arriving, participants will go through HR leadership Ashridge Inventory of Management Skills (AIMS) 360° evaluation. It will help to identify their ow strength and weaknesses. However, before leaving, they will have the opportunity to partner with a coach to create an action plan on how to solve a real HR challenge as well as have a one-to-one coaching session on specific HR related challenges they could face. Post program, they will earn a certificate and have the privilege to access to Virtual Ashridge, the online resource learning portal to continue their learning and development beyond the program. — SG
