PISJ-ES holds awards ceremony in IGCSE and A-level

— Pakistan International School English Section (PISJ-ES) students, having shone in the recently declared Cambridge results for IGCSE and A-levels, were recognized by the school here. The talented students of PISJ-ES swept the board by achieving ten Cambridge outstanding learners’ awards in different categories.

To acknowledge and celebrate the meritorious success of students and the efforts of teachers, a prestigious award ceremony was organized in the school auditorium.

On this occasion, Principal Adnan Nasir, while congratulating all the award winners, said, “These awards celebrate extraordinary academic achievement in Cambridge examinations and by achieving these awards, our students have proven that hard work, discipline and academic high standards pay rich dividends, if they are endorsed by the necessary drive and passion.”

Humbled by the unwavering commitment of the teaching faculty Nasir added, “Students’ outstanding results are the culmination of teachers’ dedicated hard work towards ensuring that such expectations are inculcated from the very beginning and consistently ingrained in order to motivate the young minds towards the quest for excellence.”

He said, “Our students’ meritorious success is a matter of great pride and honour for the entire community and our country, Pakistan.”

Among the declared ‘Cambridge Outstanding Learners’ awardees in the ‘Top in Saudi Arabia’ category are Ahmed Salman, Muhammad Dayem Sahrif and Heyam Khan from AS and A-Level for Accounting, Business and Economics respectively.

From IGCSE, Mishaal Imran and Yahya Mubasher Mir have achieved ‘Top in Saudi Arabia’ rank in Islamiyat and Pakistan Studies respectively.

Saim Omer stood ‘Top in Western Province’ in A-Level Mathematics, whereas in the same category, Nawal Asim Khan aced in IGCSE English as a Second Language.

In ‘Best across 4 A-Level category, Ahmed Salman acquired the first place in Western Province (Jeddah) Saudi Arabia; whereas in Best across 3 category AS-Level, Saim Omer stands third place and in the same category, Waniya Afroz from AS – Level secured third place.

Nasir said, “By achieving ten ‘Cambridge Outstanding Learners Awards’, our students have not only carried forward the legacy of academic excellence but have also laureled the pre-eminent Academic reputation of this prestigious alma mater around the globe.”

On producing the outstandingly impressive results, teachers’ hard work was exquisitely acknowledged alongside and they were endowed the bouquet of flowers.

The program concluded with a group photo of high achievers with the principal.
