Carthage Film Festival concludes

Tunis – The curtain fell over, Saturday evening, the 29th edition of the Carthage Film Festival (JCC), during a ceremony organised at the Opera Theatre in the city of culture during which the award was unveiled.

The Golden Tanit, the festival's highest distinction, was awarded to Tunisian feature film "Fatwa" by Mahmoud Ben Mahmoud, which also won Best Actor for Ahmed Hafian.

"Brotherhood" by Tunisian Meryem Joobeur won the golden Tanit in the category of short films.

Here is the complete list of the 29th edition of the Carthage Film Festival, where Tunisian cinema has had the lion's share with five awards:
