MAKKAH/MADINAH — Worshipers at the Grand Mosque in Makkah performed funeral prayer in absentia (Salat Al-Gha’ib) for late Saudi citizen Jamal Khashoggi after Friday prayer today, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.

Meanwhile, worshipers at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah offered the prayer for Khashoggi after Fajr (dawn) prayer on Friday.
