LG launches TV lineup with new technology

THE new line-up of recently announced LG TVs, with its innovative ThinQ technology includes the new and innovative models (W8 and C8) and ultra-clear TVs (SK85).

The new LG TV models will provide a real-world viewing and immersive interactive experiences, opening new horizons in the home cinema experience. This only means that with the OLED TVs, friends and family can enjoy a real cinema experience at the comfort of their homes, and experience the brilliant details and vivid colors of each image supported by both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

These models are the first of its kind to offer a premium cinema experience for home users, featuring LG’s Active HDR technology, which improves the HDR image quality and makes it brighter with intricate detail of the shadows to reach a life-like viewing experience of its beauty and completeness. The Virtual Surround Plus offers improved surround sound effect from TV speakers removing the need for external speakers added to the TV. The Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, use the left and right speakers, which gives consumers a sense that the sound is flowing from all directions around the users, simulating a home cinema experience.

During the third quarter of this year, 2018 licenses were approved by the General Authority for Audiovisual Media, including eight licenses for the establishment of cinemas. The number of licenses for the import, distribution and sale of television receivers have reached 19.

The LG 2018 SUPER UHD is equipped with LG’s Alpha 7 processor, a powerful processor in the OLED TV B8 series. In addition, the LG TV line-up features Full-Array Local Dimming (FALD) backlighting and Nano Cell technology offer the most advanced LCD picture quality ever with deeper blacks, enhanced image rendering, improved shadow details and accurate colors from the widest viewing angles.
