RIYADH — Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah has met with Dr. Ahmed Al-Mandhari, World Health Organization’s regional director for the Eastern Mediterranean.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed topics of mutual interest in the humanitarian and relief field, and also talked about ways to enhance existing cooperation between KSrelief and WHO.
Al-Mandhari expressed his pleasure at visiting KSrelief.
“This is my first visit to the center,” he stated. “The visit is intended to review what has been accomplished previously in cooperation with KSrelief, which is a very strong partner for WHO and our regional office in the field of humanitarian aid,” he added.
“We discussed the challenges facing us in implementing the objectives of our cooperation, and strengthening our collaboration and research in other fields. I am optimistic about the excellent level of our present partnership, and about the fact that we are able to achieve successes despite the difficulties and limitations we face in our work. Over the past three years, the center has been able to accomplish many of its objectives, reflecting a clear vision of its global role in the humanitarian field,” he said.
