RIYADH — J&L Apparel beat STC Telecom 75-60 to emerge as Group B champion of Hurricane Florence Basketball Tournament at American International School of Riyadh.

The Apparel applied tough defense to halt the loser’s offense in the final quarter. The loser tried its best but lost steam in the dying seconds. Zandro Sitchon and Mike Calungcaguin were adjudged the best players of the game.

Meanwhile in the RFBL Tournament, Arabian Homes defeated KSA All Star 64-63 to claim the second seat of the championship game against Marcafe of Yel Camus this coming Friday. Mike Pogz Medina top scored with 18 points — 15 points from the Three Points area — and was selected as the best player of the game.

This tournament is sponsored by J&L Apparel of Louie Gallardo and Danny Araullo, Zultec - El Caviteno Basketball Team of Benjie Yanga, United International Trading Supplies, Kapitana Restaurant of Eunilo Dela Cruz and assisted by Jeddah Basketball League.

Battle for third place will be played by KSA All Star and Tambay Pogi before the championship game.
