WASHINGTON — US President Donald Trump has reiterated his administration’s determination to continue working with Saudi Arabia and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense.

In an interview with Reuters on Tuesday, Trump described the Crown Prince as an able leader and Saudi Arabia a very good ally.

“He’s the leader of Saudi Arabia. They’ve been a very good ally,” Trump said in the interview in the Oval Office.

Asked by Reuters if standing by the Kingdom meant standing by the Crown Prince, Trump responded: “Well... it certainly does.” — SG
