RIYADH — King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center›s Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs Ahmed Al-Baiz recently met with representatives from United Nations Development Program (UNDP) at the center›s Riyadh headquarters in Riyadh.

Al-Baiz reviewed KSrelief›s humanitarian and relief efforts in affected countries, most notably in Yemen. The center has implemented 301 impartial aid initiatives to assist the Yemeni people, he said.

The two sides discussed valuable partnership between their organizations, and reviewed joint projects in the relief, humanitarian aid and development fields. They also explored ways to overcome some of the difficulties faced by aid providers in delivering humanitarian assistance.

The UNDP representatives expressed their appreciation for the extensive humanitarian role being played by the Kingdom through KSrelief, which provides impartial, comprehensive aid to thousands of people worldwide. — SG
