RIYADH
— Newly-appointed Minister of Education Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh emphasized that the progress of any nation can be achieved only through acquiring advanced education.

“The Kingdom is now enjoying a prestigious position within the G20 countries, and we aspire it to be among the group of the 15 countries,” he said.

He made the remarks while addressing the ministry officials on his first day after assuming office at the ministry headquarters in Riyadh on Wednesday.

The minister underscored the utmost keenness given by the Saudi rulers on education since the very first day of the Kingdom’s foundation.

He urged teachers to exert all efforts to shape the younger generation so as to enable them to take up any jobs and shoulder their missions in a perfect way in all sectors.
