Saudi Gazette report

Riyadh —
Passengers are entitled to refreshments if their flight is delayed by one hour, meals if the delay exceeds three hours and hotel accommodation and transportation to and from the airport if the delay exceeds six hours.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) made this announcement as part of its Customer Protection Regulations initiative under the slogan “Your Rights are Protected”.

The launch of the Customer Protection Regulations comes within the framework of GACA’s keenness to provide the best services to passengers and to protect their rights as well as to take care of the rights of people with special needs.

GACA has allocated a customer protection account on Twitter @GACACare in addition to its main account @ksagaca and toll-free number 8001168888 to serve all passengers.
