Japanese mission seeks investment in Saudi food sector

RIYADH — Saudi-Japan Vision Office (SJVO) and Japan External Trade Organization (Jetro) Riyadh office will receive a Japanese delegation from Service and Franchise Industry on Feb. 4-6.

The delegation seeks any future business opportunities and possibilities in Saudi market. It consists of 10 Japanese companies from Food & Beverage, Restaurant, Food Manufacturing sectors. During their stay, they will visit “Saudi Franchise Expo 2019”, hold workshops with Saudi government institutions such as SAGIA and Monshaat, as well as meeting with candidate franchise business partners.

SJVO is a project management office established in January 2018 aimed at seeking synergy from the strategic partnership of KSA’s Vision 2030 and Japan’s growth strategy.

Jetro is one of the Japanese governmental entities under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. — SG
