Most regions to witness inclement weather till Wednesday

JEDDAH – The General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection has warned of inclement weather in most parts of the Kingdom from Monday until Wednesday.

Several regions are expected to witness rain accompanied by thunder and sandstorm, the authority said on Sunday in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.

According to the authority, inclement weather will be experienced on Monday and Tuesday in Arar, Rafha and Turaif in the Northern Border Region; Sakaka, Qurayyaat and Tabarjal in Al-Jouf Region; Taima, Al-Wajh, Amlaj, Duba and Haql in Tabuk region; Hail Al-Ghazalah, Hait, and Baqaa in Hail region; and Yanbu, Al-Ula, Badr, Al-Rais, Al-Ays, Khaybar and Wadi Al-Fara in Madinah region.

Several regions of Makkah province, including Jeddah, Turba, Raniyya, Al-Khorma, Dahban, Rabigh, Khulais, Al-Kamel and Bahra will witness inclement weather from Monday to Wednesday.

The authority said unstable weather is expected to hit many regions of Riyadh, Najran and the Eastern Province on Tuesday and Wednesday as well as in Al-Qassim on Thursday and Friday.

There is also a forecast of mild to moderate rain in most regions of the Kingdom, the statement added.
