RIYADH —
Two Egyptian youths, who rescued at least eight people from the burning coaches after the Ramses train accident in Egypt in February, are in the Kingdom to perform Umrah as guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Program for Umrah and Ziyarah.

Waleed Mardhi Hassan Al-Faggi and Muhammad Abdulrahman Kamal thanked the King and the Crown Prince for the great honor.

Waleed and Muhammad, who worked at a tea stall near the platform where the accident took place, used jerry cans of water to try to extinguish the train inferno to rescue the trapped passengers.

At least 25 people were killed in the early morning of Feb. 27 at Cairo's main train station, Ramses Station, when a locomotive hit the buffers at the end of the track at platform 6 at high speed, causing an explosion that sparked a major blaze and fireball that blackened the walls of the station. The locomotive could later be seen inside, leaning to one side next to a platform.
