CEDA reviews development issues

RIYADH – The Council of Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA) held a meeting on Tuesday night at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

During the meeting, the council reviewed a number of matters, including the Q1 2019 report presented by the Projects Management Office at CEDA. The report included an analysis of the statistical indices for its works and the status of decisions, allocations, recommendations, outcomes and the period specified for completing them.

The council also reviewed a presentation by the Ministry of Economy and Planning on the analysis of growth of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) that included a briefing on the most prominent middle and long term indices related to economic sustainability, rate of private sector investments, and levels of government spending.

The CEDA made the appropriate recommendations on these subjects and issued several directives in this regard. – SG
