IOC group holds gathering in Abha

JEDDAH —
The Indian expatriate community living in southern part of the Kingdom have emphasized upon maintaining the secular core concept of India.

Indian Overseas Congress (IOC) held it gathering in southern city of Abha recently which is attended by its Middle East Convener Mansoor Palloor.

Pallor urged the community members to focus upon affairs back home in India where they need to press with their family and friends to work for upholding constitutional values and secular fabric of the country.

Dr. Arshi Malik said that IOC in southern parts of Kingdom is working to reach out a greater number of Indian community.

He said that many young NRIs are keen on Rahul Gandhi’s dynamic leaderships skills.

Pallor was greeted at the airport by Dr. Arshi Malik, IOC coordinator Saudi Arabia, along with Ashraf Kuttichal, president of IOC in Saudi Southern Regional Central Committee, among others.

Dr. Malik introduced Pallor to the audience as he was on his first visit to Abha region.

The meeting discussed various issues pertaining to Indian expatriate community and its role back home, according to organizers. The main topic of discussion was the ongoing Lok Sabha elections and scenario in the country after post elections, organizers added.
