IFF Riyadh Tamil chapter launches Celebrate Friendship campaign

The India Fraternity Forum Tamil Chapter launched its “Celebrate Friendship” campaign in Riyadh recently. An anticipated social event pulled Tamil-speaking members living across capital city. Leadership team of Riyadh chapter bundled list of competition and events for the people from different walks of life.

“Breast Cancer Awareness” program was organized for women enlightening different aspects of cancer and prevention measures. It was well presented by Amina Hassan with her rich knowledge.

Parenting is not an easy job anymore in this modern era. “Parents only” session was conducted highlighting various factors effecting parenting. Different methodologies were discussed and interacted with the parents. Day to day issues and set of goals and solutions were showcased by Eng. Al-Aman Ahmad, president, Indian Social Forum, Jeddah.

Educational awareness program was conducted by Firdous for students. An eye-catching exhibition by students, displayed their talents and capabilities of creativity and hard work. Viewers were amazed with the scientific works and demonstration. Dr. Khalid, Ministry of Health, inaugurated the exhibition.

A grand conclusion session started with ground breaking welcome song. Message of “Celebrate Friendship” was delivered by Moulavi Mohamad Iqbal, president, Indian Social Forum, Dammam. He highlighted the importance of social service and social responsibilities.

Felicitation speech was delivered by Hyder Ali, branch manager, Universal Inspection Company Riyadh. Dr. Mohammad Yasin, professor, Majma University, Fakrudeen, president, Riyadh Tamil Sangam, Jabir, president, Indian Social Forum, Riyadh, Mohamad Raffy, Riyadh regional secretary, India Fraternity Forum. They also spoke on this occasion.

Sports and cultural activities involved participation of men, women and kids including tug-off-war, Mehandi designing, food art works, quiz etc.

The event started with Basheer Ingapuzha, zonal president, welcome speech by Eng. Ajmal Khan, executive secretary, Eng. Faisal, Secretary, IFF, and vote of thanks by Ramujudeen, IFF region executive member.
