King instructs emirs to work for people’s betterment

JEDDAH – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman received emirs of various regions on the occasion of their 26th annual meeting at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Tuesday.

During the reception, which Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, attended, the King was briefed on the most important topics discussed at their annual meeting, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

In his audience with emirs, King Salman instructed them to take care of the interests of citizens and expatriates. The Monarch also directed the emirs to follow up their conditions, as well as to facilitate and ease their affairs so as to achieve comprehensive development and serve the interests of the homeland and the citizens.



Those who attended the reception included Minister of Interior Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Saud Bin Naif and Deputy Minister of Interior Nasser Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Dawood. Makkah Emir Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Riyadh Emir Prince Faisal Bin Bandar and Madinah Emir Prince Faisal Bin Salman were among the emirs who attended the meeting.
