Jeddah airport expo exposes Iran-backed Houthi crimes

JEDDAH —
The gravity of terror attacks unleashed by the Iran-backed Houthi militia targeting Saudi Arabia is being showcased in front of leaders of 56 Arab and Muslim countries and about 390 media persons arriving in the Kingdom from around the world to attend the Makkah summits.

The exhibits displayed at the exhibition titled “Facts in minutes” in the premises of King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah, include several missiles, drones, boats and other equipment and missile launchers that were used by the Houthi militia to attack Saudi Arabia.

The exhibits are telling evidences of the explicit involvement of the Iranian regime in these criminal and terrorist acts, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The exhibition showcased remains of several Iranian ballistic missiles and drones that targeted Saudi Arabia in recent years. These include Qiam missile which was fired toward Riyadh on 25 March, 2018 and another Qiam missile launched toward Makkah in 2016; Iranian drones of Ababil/Qasef and Rased, Iranian made rocket-propelled grenade, Iranian anti-armor Dahlawi, in addition to Iranian made optical binoculars and remote-controlled booby-trapped boat.

The exhibition was organized jointly by the Ministry of Defense, represented by the Joint Armed Forces, the Communications and New Media Center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Yemen Development and Reconstruction Center.

The visitors are given detailed briefing about the exhibits in various languages by Mohammed Saeed Al-Jaber, Saudi ambassador to Yemen and executive director of Yemen Development and Reconstruction Center; Col. Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman of the Saudi-led Coalition; and Ahmed Al-Tuwaiyan, director general of the Communications and New Media Center at the Foreign Ministry.
