MAKKAH —
The Ministry of Haj and Umrah has asked Haj companies to provide a cleaner for each 30 pilgrims within its efforts to keep Makkah, Madinah and other holy sites clean during the Haj season.

The ministry also asked the companies to provide it with the data about their employees, who should all be Saudis, latest by July 28.

The ministry, in a circular, asked the companies to make an identity card for each and every pilgrim and to provide the pilgrims with wrist bracelets containing their names, nationalities, place of accommodation, the name of the tawafa establishment and other relevant information.

It has started giving the companies their seasonal licenses after receiving from them the bank guarantees on May 28.
