RIYADH –
Minister of Economy and Planning and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) Muhammad Bin Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri on Monday launched the e-port for Saudi Census 2020, as an awareness information platform for all issues related to the fifth census for population, homes and enterprises through its website www.stats.gov.sa.

The Saudi Census 2020 is an official platform for all census news and everything related to it including announcing and publishing results, apart from being a platform for disseminating statistical awareness in general,Undersecretary of GASTAT for Strategic Communication and Customer Support Tayseer Al-Mfarrij said, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.

Al-Mfarrij said the e-port has special windows for the past four censuses and their results, aside from news and awareness windows shedding light on the preparations made till now for the Kingdom’s fifth census.

Citizen and expatriates can fill the form through “self-census system?” via the e-port in March 2020. This is deemed one of the most important modern methods for population census, as it will enable heads of families to register all their data and those of their families without the need for a visit by the statistical researcher to their home.
