All cities and towns in the region are now competing to welcome the tourists, guests and vacationers in the old Arab tradition, Makkah newspaper said in a report.

In Dhahran Al-Janoub area, the residents have designed special programs to welcome the guests making them feel at home. They have rediscovered the region's historic sites including Al-Feel (Elephant) Road, the historic villages in Al-Houza and the mountain Al-Mubarah which is replete with historic writings.
