DAMMAM —
The Ministry of Labor branch in the Eastern Province has reinstated 30 Saudis in their jobs following their dismissal by an expatriate, who took advantage of his post in the human resources management.

His decision clearly contravened the regulations, which forbid non-Saudis occupying such posts.

The Director General of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development in the Eastern Province Abdulrahman Bin Fahd Al-Muqbil said the ministry’s branch followed up on the case which went viral on social media.

The ministry dispatched a specialist team to the violating firm located in Al-Khobar.

The expatriate was issued an exit only visa and a Saudi was appointed in his place.

Violations worth SR420,000 were registered against the firm.
