NEW YORK — The Permanent Delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations held a seminar on the role of quality education in increasing the participation of women in the labor market.
The seminar was hosted by Ambassador Abdullah Al-Muallimi, permanent representative of Saudi Arabia to UN, in New York Wednesday on the sidelines of the high-level political forum at the United Nations.
Dr. Reem Bint Mansour Bin Mishaal, member of the economic and financial committee at the Kingdom’s permanent delegation, participated together with the Kingdom’s permanent delegate to the United Nations in a panel discussion.
The discussion was on the attitudes and means of achievement and the percentage of Saudi women working in Saudi Arabia, as well as national policies to increase their participation in the labor market, as one of the most important objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.— SG/SPA
